In the past, collecting solar energy required bulky and expensive
equipment. With the Macaque Industries Pocket-Sized Inflatable Solar
Receptor, though, all you need is a sunny place and some patience.
The main problem with the Portable Receptor is that it's fairly
temperamental and must be watched carefully. The longer you leave it in
the sun, the hotter it gets and the more rapidly it can produce energy.
If you let the gauge get above the red line at 100, though, the
equipment will overheat, melt the battery down, and spoil everything
you've collected.
Once the Receptor is set up, a display gauge will show the current heat
of the equipment, and you will be prompted repeatedly to shut down or
keep going. Watch the gauge carefully, and try to get it as close to
100 as possible without going over 100. If you go over the limit, you
will produce nothing; otherwise, your production will depend on how
close you got to 100 (and, of course, on the quality of your location).
Good luck!
